Tree of Life is a personal calendar application for keeping track of birthdays and memorial dates.

Information stored by the app

Tree of Life allows users to create and manage personal entries that may include names, birthdays, memorial dates, notes, and other information entered by the user.

This information is stored locally on the user's device. Tree of Life does not require a user account.

Data collection

Tree of Life does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data with the developer or third parties.

The app does not use advertising networks, analytics services, tracking technologies, or profiling systems.

Notifications and reminders

Tree of Life may use Android notification and alarm functionality to provide reminders for birthdays and memorial dates.

These permissions are used only to deliver reminders requested by the user.

Backup and export

The app may allow users to export or import their own data for backup purposes.

Exported files are created and controlled by the user. Tree of Life does not automatically upload these files to any external server or cloud service.

If the user chooses to move, share, or store an exported backup using another application or service, that external service is governed by its own privacy policy.

Data retention and deletion

All application data is stored locally on the user's device.

Users can delete individual entries from within the application.

Users can remove all locally stored application data by uninstalling Tree of Life or clearing the application's storage through Android settings.

The developer does not retain copies of user data on external servers.

Permissions

Depending on the Android version and device configuration, Tree of Life may request permissions related to:

notifications;
scheduling reminders or alarms;
access required for user-initiated import/export operations.

These permissions are used only for the corresponding app functionality.

Children's privacy

Tree of Life is not specifically designed for children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third-party services

Tree of Life may rely on standard Android and Google Play platform services required for application distribution, installation, notifications, and system functionality.

The app itself does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, or user-tracking services.

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the functionality of Tree of Life changes.

Any updated version will be made available at the same public location and the "Last updated" date will be revised.
